In my classroom, we had a routine for taking devices out of the cart and bringing them to a learning space. They even offer a plan that includes repair, so you don’t have to worry about setting up separate insurance.
You can get more information on what Rug-Ed’s insurance policy looks like on this overview page. Essentially, schools, students, or families bring a broken device to one of their repair centers. Then the repair center fixes the device and sends it back to your school. This workflow makes it easy to manage any issues that might come up during the school year.

Protective Case for iPads
Now the video below is definitely an extreme version of the power of the ProLOCK case. I don’t think you’ll come across all of these “drop and toss” scenarios — at least I hope not! But the video does provide a great illustration of just how sturdy each protective case really is in terms of getting the job done.
As you can see in the picture below, the ProLOCK case has a carrying handle. Students and teachers can easily transport their device, present while walking around a classroom, and collaborate in a variety of settings.
There are corner bumpers for maximum drop protection and a stand that detaches and offers two viewing angles. You might not be able to tell from the picture, but the ProLOCK protective case has tamper-proof locking to prevent it from being removed.
