Do you teach media literacy in your classroom? Media literacy is defined as: “a series of communication competencies, including the ability to access, analyze, evaluate, and communicate information in a variety of forms…” Students using Buncee, a creation and presentation tool, can strengthen their media literacy skills as they access many types of media to produce their own digital content.

Teach Media Literacy
The National Core Arts Standards for Media Arts outlines four ways educators can refine the media skills of their students. Buncee helps teachers address these processes by giving them a space to create, produce, respond and connect with content (learn more here). One of the standards addressing the process of connecting, asks students to demonstrate how media arts and ideas relates to different areas of life. The Buncee below, created by Susan Riley, is a project example that addresses this standard.
